At the beginning of the year, one or more parents in each Pre-K through 5th Grade classroom volunteer to be Room Parents. Middle School grades have a CRPTO VP Middle School Volunteer Coordinator. This CRPTO sponsored program is a wonderful way to stay connected to your child and the activities in your child’s classroom, to get to know other parents, and to be involved in the school. Most classes have several volunteers who find being a Room Parent is not too consuming...it is lots of fun and very fulfilling!

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
The main goal of a Room Parent is to assist your teacher. As a Room Parent, you are an important liaison to the classroom families. Room Parents help coordinate parties, organize volunteers for classroom and school events, and also pass along classroom, school and CRPTO information to the class.
