PICTURE DAYS TEAM
Pictures are taken in August each year. A two day event in which each student gets his/her individual picture taken for their ID badges and yearbook photos. Volunteers are needed to assist with class scheduling, order and payment collection; and assisting photographer with preparing children.
ART & GARDEN WALK
The Art & Garden Walk is in March each year. It is a chance to showcase the art work of each grade level; projects that the children have worked on in art class as well as with Art Masterpiece throughout the year. The projects are displayed throughout the outdoor grounds. This is a fundraiser! Enjoy entertainment by our Middle School Art program and Musical Theater, Band, and Strings programs. Purchases in the garden and works of art, as well as food and spirit wear sales are to raise funds for the school. Team Members are needed for planning event and many volunteers are needed the day/week of the event.
Team Responsibilities include: Volunteer Coordination; Marketing/Signage; Art presentation; Classroom Coordination; Vendor selection; Raffle Coordination.

April hosts our night not to be missed for all CRS parents and guardians, as well as our CRS teachers and staff. Planning stages can begin as early as November to secure a venue- if not the year prior. Active planning requires a large team to help with decorations, entertainment, invitations, collecting sponsorships and auction items, and all the marketing to get our families excited!
HEALTH SCREENING DAYS TEAM
Health Screening Day is held in September or early October each year. It is a chance for various health volunteers to assist the school nurse with checking the vision and hearing of each of our students.
BOOK FAIR TEAM
TIME FRAME: (AUG - SEPTEMBER)
Our Book Fair is held in September each year. The Scholastic Book Fair is a week long opportunity to purchase Scholastic books for your child, your child’s classroom, the library or as gifts. The Book Fair is open to all children and families before and after school. During the school day, each class is scheduled to visit the Book Fair. Additional events such as Mornings with Dads, and Teacher Wish Lists are also planned to make the week even more fun! Team Members are needed for planning the event and many volunteers are needed the day/week of the event.
Team Responsibilities include: Ordering supplies from Scholastic; Classroom scheduling; Volunteer Coordination; Theme decoration design, set-up/clean up; Book display set-up/clean-up; marketing; clerking/cashiering; Supply maintenance.
TIME FRAME: (SEPT – NOV)
Copper Ridge Carnival is a community event that is held in October each year, on the campus playground. The entire school staff, families and friends are invited to participate. Unlimited ride wristbands are available for all rides. There are carnival rides, bounce houses, carnival games with prizes, a DJ and food/treats.
As a fundraiser, each class is asked to collect donations for a themed basket valued around $250 and these baskets are displayed and raffled at the Carnival. Team Members are needed for planning the event and many volunteers are needed the day of the event.
Team Responsibilities include: Ride and prize vendor selection; Volunteer Coordination; Marketing/advertisement; Facilities Management; Set-up/Clean Up; Food & beverage vendor coordination.

To start, simply fill out the Volunteer Interest Form. Remember: you MUST sign up to volunteer EACH school year so please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form again. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1) Complete the CRPTO Volunteer Interest Form online
2) If you are volunteering in the classroom or attending a classroom field trip, then as a CRS VOLUNTEER you must also complete the SUSD Volunteer and Chaperone Application
3) You will then automatically be added to our VOLUNTEER Sign Up Genius List and begin receiving volunteer opportunities via Sign Up Genius
